Skills Development Scotland - Scotland's free lifelong careers service

West Calder High School's SDS careers adviser is Martin Webster. Martin is based full-time in the school. He can offer career guidance to all young people at any stage of their schooling and beyond. Young people can get help with identifying and exploring career paths, choosing subjects, and securing work, training or further study after school.

SDS also offers careers support to all members of the public, including recent school leavers and those wishing to change career.
