Pupil Leadership Team

Hi! We're the Pupil Leadership Team

Our role is to be a voice for all pupils across all year groups.

To do this, we lead our Pupil Councils each month as well as our Pupil Parliament.

We ensure that at each Pupil Council session at least one of us is present, so that we can report back to the pupil leadership team during out weekly meetings and act on issues raised by each year group.

On top of our work with the Pupil Councils, we are also each responsible for communicating directly with our individual year groups, each captain is responsible for one year group. We feed back to pupils on items that have arisen from Pupil Council or Parliament or any other school business that the staff leadership team have asked us to pass on. 

As a pupil leadership team we meet each week to discuss issues that have been brought to our attention or ways we can identify to make the school a better place. A common point of discussion in our meetings are our school values. We regularly evaluate our school values to ensure that they correctly represent every pupil in the school. In our daily interactions with pupils and staff we are looking for these values to be in places and identifying areas where this can be improved. 

We also have the huge responsibility but also pleasure of planning and carrying out school-wide events such as the Lip Sync Battle. 

We see being in our position as a huge privilege, and we hope to continue to do right by all pupils for the remainder of our time as captains.
