P7 Open Evening

Each year we invite our P7 young people and their parents into WCHS for a visit. This allows families to see the school and take part in some subject specific learning.

This evening takes place at the end of September. 

The format of the evening will be as follows:

6.00 - 6.30pm : Families will arrive and gather in the arena after having been allocated to a group. The Co-Lab cafe will be open for anyone wishing to purchase any refreshments and S1 parents will be available for any questions in Plaza 5. 

(This is an 'optional' part of the evening)

6.35pm : Presentation to families from Head Teacher.

6.55pm : Families will leave in their groups with Senior Pupils acting as guides.

7pm : Period A

7.15pm : Period B

7.30pm : Period C

7.45pm : Period D

8pm : Period E

8.15pm : Period F

8.30pm : End - Families will depart from their final area.

Areas to be visited within each 15-minute slot:

Floor 1 - Business (G01), Computing (G02), DEng (Workshop)

Floor 2 - Humanities and Languages (Plaza 2 and 5)

Floor 3 - Wellbeing Plaza, Cafe, HFT 

Floor 4 - Maths (Super classroom) and Science (Super Lab)

Floor 5 - Art, Music and Drama (Plaza 3 and 4)

Floor 1a - PE
