College Courses at West Lothian College
In this section you will find information related to the college courses that are run by West Lothian College aimed at S4-S6 pupils.
West Lothian College
At West Calder High School we pride ourselves in working with partners to deliver opportunities to our young people. Working in partnership with West Lothian College, there are a number of vocational courses that pupils can choose from S4-S6. These courses are delivered during the school day, usually Tuesday and Thursday after lunch, however there are courses that run on a Friday afternoon.
Most courses on offer by West Lothian College take one year to complete.
The level of the qualification ranges from Level 4 to Level 6.
Level 4 is equivalent to National 4
Level 5 is equivalent to National 5
Level 6 is equivalent to Higher
